Although dogs never really tire of going on walks in local places they know and love, after months of having to stay nearby, a change of scenery is something we’d all welcome right now. As the world starts to open up again, both you and your dog can finally venture a little further out. With that in mind, here’s some events you don’t want to miss this Summer!

Big Dog Walk

Taking place on a couple of days in October at Kent and Essex, Big Dog Walk is so much more than just a walk in the park. Organised in a safe way, the team at Big Dog Walk allow you to enjoy the great outdoors at some of the UK’s most beautiful private parks. In addition to this, you’ll find activities, shopping, expert advice, fun dog shoes, obstacle courses and more. It’s a great day out for both you and your pup!

Muddy Dog Challenge

The Muddy Dog Challenge is a 2.5K or 5K obstacle course that you can do with your furry companion right by your side. Throughout September and October, you can compete at a number of places up and down the country. Not only is this a fun memory for you and your dog, by taking part you help raise money for Battersea to help it continue its work in caring for thousands of abandoned dogs.

There you can find arena displays, obstacle courses, industry experts and shopping. There is also a Puppy Academy on site if you’re looking for more info on the newest member of your family you acquired during lockdown.
